Zippit mouth tape
You detach the mouth tape from the piece of paper to which it is attached and then stick it over your lips. It is advisable to pull your lips in a little bit and then stick the mouth tape on from the inside out. Once you have pasted the mouth tape, you can only breathe through your mouth with difficulty, so you will mainly breathe through your nose. This allows you to experience all the benefits of nasal breathing.
If you just pull the mouth tape off in the morning, this can still be painful. Try the following: push the mouth tape outward with your tongue. You will see that the wetness on your tongue will loosen the mouth tape very easily and you can remove it completely painlessly.
Nasal breathing has all kinds of health benefits. You can read the most obvious ones listed below:
- You no longer snore or snore much less
- You sleep deeper
- You wake up more energetic
- Your mouth smell becomes more pleasant
- You no longer have a dry mouth in the morning
- You produce more nitric oxide, which allows you to perform better physically and cognitively
Zippit's mouth tape sticks just enough to keep your lips together during the night, but if you want you can also pull the mouth tape off by applying force with your mouth. This also makes the use of Zippit mouth tape safe.
The mouth tape almost always works well with facial hair. However, you might notice that if you pull the mouth tape off soon after sticking it on (within 3 hours), it can be a bit more sensitive. After a night's sleep, you usually pull off the mouth tape painlessly. Remember to use your tongue.
You can simply tape your mouth shut with Zippit Mouth Tape even if you have dry lips. By not breathing through your mouth anymore you strengthen your oral health which will also make you less likely to suffer from dry lips.
The adhesive of the mouth tape sticks well enough to hold your lips together but is not so strong that it harms your lips. Tip: Remove the mouth tape by pushing the tape out from the inside with your tongue. This allows you to remove it from your lips completely painlessly, and without leaving any tears.
You can certainly breathe normally if you tape your mouth shut at night. Sticking on Zippit mouth tape ensures that breathing through the mouth is no longer the easiest option and therefore encourages nasal breathing. However, with some effort, you can still breathe through your mouth through the small opening in the mouth tape. The use of Zippit is not recommended if you suffer from sleep apnea or a stuffy nose. Always consult a health professional if you are unsure about using Zippit.
Sniffit nose strips
You detach the nose strip from the paper it is attached to and then stick it just above your nostrils. Be sure to press the nose strip down well so that it is secure. Try not to stick it too high up on your nose. If the nose strip is positioned correctly, you will immediately feel that you can breathe more easily through your nose
Being able to breathe more freely through your nose has many advantages. Especially if you couldn't breathe through your nose at all before. Nose strips can give you the following benefits:
- Less, or no more stuffed nose
- Deeper sleep
- Waking up more energized
- Less snoring
- Better performance, both cognitively and physically
In most cases you can easily remove the nose strip by simply pulling it off. However, if you have a sensitive skin, and it hurts a bit to pull off the nose strip, try to make the sticky side of the nose strip as wet as possible before pulling it off.
